The Pop Luck Club is inviting all of our members, past and present, to participate in an upcoming community service opportunity as part of the annual "Big Sunday" event (www.bigsunday.org). We're doing it on Saturday, May 2nd instead of Sunday the 3rd, since Sunday is our Pop Luck meeting in collaboration with COLAGE.
This year we'll be helping to clean up and beautify an LAUSD public school.
This event will be held from 9AM - 3PM on May 2nd. It's appropriate for families with kids of all ages, and especially for those with older kids.
Pop Luck's objectives for participating in this event are many:
- To have fun!
- To raise the visibility of Pop Luck among the greater-L.A. & O.C. community
- To give our kids an opportunity to participate in community service
- To offer an event that appeals to families with older kids
- To help PLC families meet each other
