Pop Luck Club dad Mark C. Reis is an incredible talent! I'd Enjoy Being A Girl...on Broadway! is the follow up to his previous one-man show, Diapers, Dishes and Dreams...Stories of a Dancer.

This show reveals a slightly "darker," more mysterious, intriguing side of himself in becoming a Broadway dancer.  Still delightful, charming and humorous in its delivery, the question now for Reis is how different his career and success in musical theatre might have been had he been a girl?

Directed by Michele Lynch with Musical Direction by Scott Harlan, and Choreography by Lisa Mandel, this all-new concert is presented through great dancing, classic Broadway show tunes, and inventive story telling, with Reis' objective being a thought provoking evening for anyone who has ever asked themselves the question, "What if..?"

Dinner Seating for this event begins at 6:00 pm, followed by a 7:30-8:30 pm performance.

Tamyra Gray

An updated version of the classic Grimm fairytale, in the style of a traditional British family Panto, SLEEPING BEAUTY and Her Winter Knight is a singing and soaring winter adventure that features family-friendly magic, with a comedic twist, dancing (with “So You Think You Can Dance” alumni), a live pony, interaction with the audience and contemporary music from Jessie J's "Domino" to John Legend's "All Of Me,” Pharrell Williams "Happy" to Survivor's "Eye of The Tiger" and more. A Panto is known for its interactive style and humor that appeals to everyone from ages 2 – 102! “Those who have never been to a panto will have a glorious introduction to the forum.” – Los Angeles Times

Before every performance, guests and their families are invited to enjoy a “Winter Wonderland” event in The Playhouse’s Engemann Family Courtyard, complete with holiday carolers, crafts, activities, games, Santa Claus and photo opportunities.

GOLDEN TICKETS are available as an add-on to any child’s ticket for an additional $50.00 each (limit of 10 Golden Tickets available per performance). A Golden Ticket provides the ticketholder (children only) with a special onstage sing-a-long experience during the production, a gift bag with special surprises, a SLEEPING BEAUTY collectible poster, and one free photo with Santa!

“I believe there’s more pure theatre in a pantomime than you get in Shakespeare, and if it works, it’s unforgettable… If the British are particularly good at putting on a show, I’ve a feeling that it’s because the people who put them on went to see pantomime when they were young.” - Sir Ian McKellen on Panto

It’s 1936; the golden age of Hollywood, and two rival movie studios are in a heated battle for survival when their opposing leading men fall in love. Reminiscent of screwball comedies of the past, this new musical takes place in a world of artifice, backstabbing, lavender weddings, double-crossing starlets, and a moral crusader from the Legion of Decency, making it increasingly more difficult for the leading men to hold on to the one real thing each has ever found. It’s funny, charming, romantic, happily nostalgic, and very tuneful.

Attend the World Premiere of THE MAX FACTOR FACTOR at NoHo Arts Center produced in association with Celebration Theatre and directed by Pop Luck Club's own Michael A. Shepperd. Written by Adrian Bewley (Book), Joe Blodgett (Music), and Chana Wise (Lyrics).
