12:30 pm - Panel Discussion: Family Building through Surrogacy, Fostering & Adoption

We meet at 11am for our New Member Orientation. This is a support-style group for gay dads and prospective dads to share their experiences forming families. Always a mix of current and future parents, this is a great way to get answers to your questions about fostering, adoption, surrogacy and co-parenting. Much of the conversation is about logistics--from agencies, attorneys, and doctors to play groups, pre-schools, and pediatricians. The payoff is when repeat visitors to this group come with their new arrivals--the children they have worked so hard to get.

At Noon, we will have a Pot Luck Meal. Please bring an entree dish for six (6) people. No desserts, please.

From 12:30 -2:00pm, we will host a Panel Discussion

Family Building through Surrogacy, Fostering & Adoption

Dr. Guy Ringler, California Fertility Partners (www.californiafertilitypartners.com)
Robyn Harrod, Southern California Foster Family & Adoption Agency (www.SCFFAA.org)
David Radis, The Law Offices of David J. Radis (www.radis-adopt.com)

Guy is a board certified physician in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Robyn is the Senior Director of Programs at SCFFAA, a foster/adoption agency that was one of the first to actively recruit prospective parents from the LGBT community. David is an attorney who provides comprehensive services for private domestic adoptions for LGBT prospective parents.

Each of our panelists is well known to our Pop Luck Club community, and are considered "family" to many of us. In fact, they have helped hundreds of our members to create our families over the years. Come with your questions and hear the success stories they will share. BONUS: CLICK HERE to Check the webinar we recorded on April 7 with these panelists

No need to RSVP, but it helps us to plan. If you wish to volunteer to set-up or clean-up, let us know, too. We look forward to having you there!

Will you come?
