We meet at 11:00 am for our New Member Orientation. This is a support-style group for gay dads and prospective dads to share their experiences forming families.

Always a mix of current and future parents, this is a great way to get answers to your questions about fostering, adoption, surrogacy and co-parenting. Much of the conversation is about logistics--from agencies, attorneys, and doctors to play groups, pre-schools, and pediatricians. The payoff is when repeat visitors to this group come with their new arrivals--the children they have worked so hard to get.

This month, we will share a pot luck meal at Noon. Please bring a dish to feed six--no desserts please. Beverages, plates, napkins and utensils will be provided.

PLC Panel Discussion: Babies!

• What are the developmental stages of babies?
• How do I deal with colic?
• How important is breast milk vs. formula?
• How do I find a great pediatrician?
• How can I help my baby attach to me as his/her parent?

Whether you are expecting a baby, have one now, or can share your experiences, tips and tricks with fellow dads, please come! We are not providing child care, but you are welcome to bring your babies to share, hold, nurse, etc. Older kids with a quiet activity are welcome to hang out in the next room over, or out in the park if they do not need supervision.

No need to RSVP, but it helps us to plan. If you wish to volunteer to set-up or clean-up, let us know, too. We look forward to having you there!
