The PLC Board will meet at 10:30 am near the intersection of Crescent Heights Blvd. & Romaine St. to check-in with the parade organizers, who will direct us to our staging area. We are with Contingent #15 and typically stage within two blocks of the starting intersection, Santa Monica Blvd. & Crescent Heights Blvd. You are free to meet us there at that time, or arrive closer to 11:30 am, a short time before the parade steps off. John will group text all who have RSVPed with an exact location (our staging area) once we know it. Text him on (213) 840-3593 if you need guidance.

PRO HACK: Park near*ish to the Abbey and walk to the start of the route prior to noon. That makes it easier to get a spot and find your car afterward. SUPERPRO HACK: Rideshare.

The parade kicks off at 12:00 pm and we'll thread into the flow, likely in the first 45 minutes. In that case, we should arrive near West Hollywood Park (The Abbey) by about 2:00 pm. It's a  great walk (about 1 mile).

FYI, the organizations partnering to produce the parade have recently shifted--This Sunday (6/5), we will march as a group in the The City of West HollywoodWEHO Pride Parade, which travels along the traditional route through WeHo, which our group has marched for over 20 years. There is a separate event the following Sunday (6/12), produced by LA Pride/Christopher Street West. We chose to march this weekend, as it is a familiar route and set-up to our families.

Please do RSVP (green button to the right), so we can bring enough water and snacks. We will pull a wagon of these supplies to share. The weather should be mild (low 80s) and remember to apply sunblock. If you wish to volunteer to organize the group, decorate with signs, streamers, etc., let us know, too. We look forward to having you there!

If you have not seen it before, we get a LOT of love from the crowd. When our kids roll through on their bikes and scooters, waving and smiling, the crowds go wild, tears, cheers, "Hip, hip hoorays", it is really VERY affirming. Well over half of our members are in the planning stages of fatherhood, so no need to have a kid in tow. Don't miss out... this is one of the most invigorating experiences of our year!
